Rickrack. Isn't that what they called those zig zag looking trims that used to be sewn on clothing? I remember doing that when I was much younger. On my mom's Singer sewing machine. We didn't have clothing stores here on Molokai, so everyone made their own clothing. The local grocery store also had a dry goods section that had bolts and bolts of fabric and all the sewing notions that one would need. Now that part of the store is dedicated to wall freezers, kitchen utensils and wine and beer!
I've been out of the loop the past 2 weeks-hurricane Lane gave us a run for the money and we are grateful that we dodged that one. Hurricane Norman just went by to the east and north of us. Whew. Now we have hurricane Olivia headed straight for us! Keep us in your prayers as none of our homes can withstand category 4 winds.
Join us as a group of us (yes-there are many of us!) from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!
