Cat Grass

Although we are now on Molokai (since Monday afternoon), I had lined up several images ahead of time knowing that once I set foot here, I would be pretty busy for a while. I admit, it feels weird to be posting images of my former home (but, I'll get over it).

I kept a little planter of wheat grass in our dining room window for the cats to munch on. I noticed how the shadow looked larger than life, in fact, it was larger than life! Made for an interesting image, I thought.

Join us as a group of us (yes-there are many of us!) from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

There's an enchanting eeriness in these lovely scenes.

I think it's a nice idea to post shadow shots of your former home. It'll help ease the transition. Happy homecoming!

Great shadows from a great plant...although the shadow looks to me more a porcupine. Shadows allow for many a creative interpretation :)

Like an abstract painting that makes me tilt my head and take a deeper look.
