...And The Singing Duckie TOo!

This little guy sits on top of a music box that is a piano, which in turn sits on top of our piano.

You can insert the song you think he's singing!

More Albuquerque Railyard shots

These windows are on the east side of the main building. The next shot is on the opposite end looking down the way at these windows. Just for perspective.

A mighty big place with mighty big shadows.

Every week, a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Hey Harriet. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

You can also view all Shadow Shot postings I've done by scrolling all the way down and on the left side you will see an archive of labels for my posts. Look for Shadow Shot Sunday and click on that link for an "all you can view" buffet of shadow shots!

It is hard to believe that this is the last Shadow Shot Sunday post for 2009! Where did the year go? Quickly, that's all I can say!

Of course, we'll be back next year with more of our shadow shots as long as our gracious host, Traci continues. Thank you, Traci (self doubt here...or, is it Tracey?) for being such a fabulous host for our shadow shot addiction!

Isn't he just the cutest...how funny is that, but cool vine shadows behind...that rail yard would fascinate me too, always on the lookout for bits of history past, I'd be scouring the grounds for anything.

Cute duck, I think he's singing "Auld Lang Syne." I love the massive railyard shadows!

The shadows add to the angular look of the abandoned facility. Its uses utilitarian style, the form a result of the function. An odd elegance of the light streams into the building. Stylish, sort of...Gotta love the duckie, too!

Like the duck, love the windows! Most likely you'll see that scene in different seasons and moods, it's both beautiful and handy! Thanks for visiting!

I think he's singing “The Duck and the Lemonade Stand” by Bryant Oden. Very cute.

I hope you had the best Christmas ever and that 2010 will bring you much happiness.

He is singing Ernie's "Rubber Ducky you're the one"! He's very sweet! We have some converted rail yards here too - and they are huge also! Great shots!!

What a cute duckie! I'm sure he'll be singing up a storm to greet in the new year. Exactly what type of songs ducks sing I'm not sure. Maybe he'll sing a version of 'Ducks Don't Need Satellites' by Kate Miller-Heidke. What a treat that would be!

And yes indeed SSS will continue! Ya betcha! It's Tracy by the way ;) Not that it matters as most people spell it wrongly. All good. Happy New Year!
