Different Views From The Same Spot

I could be anywhere in the world when I took this photo as it looks like it could in Ireland or the Southwest or even Italy. The reality is, it was taken here on the tiny island of Molokai. I was standing in the same spot when I took both of these images. The rolling green plains is was everyone sees when at this site-it is the obvious. But, the explosive origin of the rock that I squatted down to see up close-not so obvious. An added bonus to be there at that golden moment of the day when the sun is about to set-offering perfect lighting.

Join us as a group of us (yes-there are many of us!) from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

I see a skull in the first shot. Very tactile.
