Why, yes, we did get snow this week-it doesn't happen all that often here during the winter in our neck of the woods. We are lucky enough to watch our mountains get blessed with it, but we don't have to contend with it much. This week, we got snow that no one could really complain about. It was cold enough to snow, but as soon as it stopped, it was warm enough (37 degrees) for it not to stay for very long. This is all that was left in a parking lot when I was out on my walk this afternoon. I can't make up my my mind if it looks more like a poodle or more like a baboon. What do you see?
I can't believe this is my 7th year as a Shadow Shot Sunday participant! Wow. I also find it hard to believe that January is more than half way over. Gulp...
Join us as a group of us (yes-there are many of us!) from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

Sea foam at the ocean's edge.
Happy SSS.
I also saw ocean foam!
Cheers!
I see a mighty dragon rising out of waves. Great to challenge the imagination with snow shapes.
Wonderful composition, I like its lights and shadows!
You did the absolutely right thing by getting out your camera to record that infrequent snowfall. Oh, and I have no idea what the snow looks most like. Sorry!
Great shadows with the light catching one side and the other in shadow.
so surprised to see snow on your blog! much of our snow from our storm is melted. I saw the same as others, ocean foam.
I see a poodle, imaginative shot!
Amazing you got some snow! And it is unbelievable that we are more than half way through January...already!
I just see a clump of snow.
Well I can't really make up my mind ! ;-)
Reminds me of my winter in SE Missouri, last year. My imagination isn't stretching much farther than that. Of course, it pushing midnight doesn't help.
