You can't have one without the other...and there is a holiness in both♥
Beautiful old post card. Your haiku is very poignant.
Such a bittersweet Haiku, coupled with the most beautiful vintage picture of Mary...
Lovely and peaceful image. Many thanks.
Greetings from London.
I was thinking of that just this morning. Imagine being a young woman of 14 or so and having to convince your family that you didn't dishonor them - rather God has visited you with a special honor. What's the likelihood that they'll believe you?
dear friend,
you have flooded my heart with all things mary.
for this i am deeply grateful.
She looks down on us all with such great compassion--and I especially love her non-traditional frame.
I see steadfastness and devotion in this representation...
She inspires compassion within all of us.
Well, then she can certainly relate to any of our sorrows because she suffered them before we did. heartfelt haiku!
