ABC Wednesday is a word meme with participants from around the world. This fabulous meme was created and hosted by Mrs. Denise Nesbitt who hails from Great Britain. We are now in our sixth round-some of the participants have been with this from the very first round; others have joined in along the way. Each week we are taken across the globe to see the varied and exciting contributions people have taken the time to discover and capture. We start with the letter, "A" and each week we post something in regards to the next letter of the alphabet. This week's letter is, "C".
Even though I've never really grown these, I've always loved them. Clematis needs things to climb on and that's where my dilemma lies. I find them to be very captivating...
There are plenty of crosses here in New Mexico, no doubt about that.
Peaceful. Quiet. Soothing, calming. What is it about the sound of moving water that is able to soothe the most jagged nerves? This one can be found in a pasture up in Mora Valley near Angel Fire.

Clematis is one of my favorite things with a C.
That creek looks so inviting! I can hear the babbling now...it's calling me to relax there!
I love the sound of water movement. there is music even in the little creek. Nice post Paula.
Beautiful clematis. I had an old one that survived with no help from me for several decades before it finally gave up the ghost. I miss it.
Crosses and creeks. Lovely C's, too!
All three photos blend well with one another for peaceful and CALM C's!
Angel Fire...isn't that in New Mexico? I have skied there.
I agree about the CALMING effect of moving water.
It occurred to me that the stick across the creek is a CROSSING.
Nice photos.
I love clematis too, though I haven't grown them for years. I must try them in our new house.
all are beautiful and clear photos...the cross is just quite scary though
