Dappled Light

There is something quite magical in the dappled light one sees under a canopy of trees. It has a feel all unto itself-a softness, a quietness. Evoking a calmness as one views it. I wonder why? This is not something a scientist would study as to the why (well, maybe it's been done-who knows?), but I think just experiencing it is evidence enough for me.

Join us as a group of us (yes-there are many of us!) from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

Great photo and thought provoking commentary, Paula!
Happy WE to you.
Peace :)

PS. Perhaps one could look to the Buddha as to why the tree's canopy provided him solace, leading to consciousness. No religious message intended or implied, even inadvertently.

@GreenComotion: I do love the message! Solae. That is one I hadn't thought of, but it does evoke that too.
