Summer Evening Light

The evening light in the summer months have their own magical quality. I will say that I miss the longer summer evenings of our previous home in New Mexico. Here on Molokai, we are so much closer to the equator, so it is dark by 7:30 pm. No more working in the yard until 9 pm for us here! There is not a lot of difference in the day light hours at this time of the year and in the winter. Nor is there daylight savings time-which always struck me as odd-having to move the clock one hour forward or backward depending on the time of the year. As if you really could 'save' time, right?

Join us as a group of us (yes-there are many of us!) from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

If that's what a summer evening's like in your part of the world, may I join you?

I guess that the early darkness is but a slight price to pay to live in Paradise! Soft and lovely shadow too!
