Quaking Aspen at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center |
Simplicity. There's a lot that can be said about it. Our lives are far from simple and yet, we long to have it present day to day. Simplicity doesn't just happen on it's own. It's a mindful practice, isn't it? Therein lies the key word. MINDFUL.
We tend to over commit ourselves without thinking of the effect of the sum total. And what we tend to forget is that we still have our hands on the driver's wheel, so to speak.
Simplicity in your life doesn't happen unless you make room for it. So, go ahead, make room and enjoy the gifts that come with it!
Join us as a group of us (yes-there are many of us!) from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

What a fun shadow shot - I love aspen trees.
simple, yet lovely
It's mandatory for me and a way to keep things down to their essence.
Intense shadows! (But that's what the New Mexico sun does, right?)
Yes, I left simplicity behind recently and have been feverishly working, my creativity going postal. Suddenly I caught up and I'm enjoying the fruits of my labors!
We do fest a lot as we make simple challenges far more difficult. Think, don't react, and look for the easier answer. In engineering, the most elegant engineered solution is the simplest. Likewise, the answer to many a problem has the simplest answer. We need to simplify our minds first...
Like the lacy shadow.
Beautiful capture!
It is like a hanging basket of shadows.
Have a Happy Sunday, Paula!
Hope your preparations are coming along finely.
Peace :)
