Small, But Mighty

A cottonwood leaf celebrates what remains of a mighty cottonwood tree-something that was perhaps a good 100 years old before it came to an end. The trunk is massive and the leaf is all but microscopic. But, it is as significant as the tree was-no less!

Join us as a group of us (yes-there are many of us!) from around the world post our shadow shots over at
Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

The texture is wonderful, Paula, and it's awesome to think about the age of the tree before it was cut down.
