Happy Father's Day!

Pretty Flutterby! © Paula Scott Molokai Girl Studio

There's something about the shadow of a flower from the butterfly bush on a butterfly, right?

Join us as a group of us (yes-there are many of us!) from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

Happy Father's Day To My Husband!

What can I say about my husband and the relationship he has with his/our son? It is more than I ever could've have hoped for. The love that they have for each other runs deep and started on day one. When John was born, Mark was still 'commuting' back and forth from Saudi Arabia, so he'd be gone for weeks at a time. I would take John around the house to wherever I had a photo of Mark and ask John where his Daddy was. And, even as a 2 month old, he'd look around smiling as though Mark would be coming from around the corner. They have such a wonderful relationship-it makes me very happy and proud that they do. They are there for each other. And, on this Father's Day, they will head out together on a day that they planned for themselves as I hope the rest of you Dads out there get to do with your children. If not, at least finding a way to honor your Dad as I will mine.

Happy Father's Day!

Such a gorgeous tribute to your hubby. Love the butterfly and flower image. It seems to symbolise that the father and son relationship is an eternal bond.

Wonderful tribute to a father and son! And the butterfly/shadow shot is stunning! (Aren't you about ready to go to Hubbell Trading Post for a while, or did you already go and I missed the news?)

The family is beautiful together, and the father has given the son a sense of value, that he honors his dad so nicely by learning by dad's great exmple!
