A Feast For The Eyes

One instant is eternity;
Eternity is now;
When you see through this one instant,
You see through the one who sees.
                   ~Wu-Men

When each day
is sacred

when each hour
is sacred

when each instant
is sacred

earth and you
space and you
bearing the sacred
through time

you'll reach
the fields of light

~Guillevic

These lovely shadow shots are all from the Honolulu Museum of Art. And, as long as you don't use flash, you are allowed to take pictures (yay!). How sweet it is.

Therefore, I am sharing some of my shadow bounty with you all.

And, don't forget to celebrate the mundane!

In the meantime, join us as a group of us (yes-there are many of us!) from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

The gods in the sculpture show powerful being(s) looking as fearsome as can be in subject and shadow. Yet the crystal is light and lovely in both being and shadow Art should be the means to showcase all emotions so we can see the good and bad in all. Great museum that allows the photographer to capture the art that compels enjoyment - and thought - of the viewer...

So many lovely shadows. The figurine in the first photo is exquisite.

Ha, even more arms with the Shiva shadows. And the pointed shadow shot below it really "sticks" with me.
