Beware of Lurking Dragons!

Paula Scott and Mark Scott at Soda Dam, New Mexico

I had to laugh when I pulled this one up on the monitor after downloading it. It was a 'selfie' that I took of my husband and I on my cell phone out at a place called Soda Dam (those are hot springs you see behind us) in the Jemez area of Northern New Mexico. I had no idea we were in so much danger! For, lo and behold, lurking behind us, you see the shadow of a dragon. We could've been in imminent danger, for all I know. Lucky for us, we got away before any incidents occurred as a result of the lurking dragon. His shadow did give him away though...

Come join us every week, as a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

I agree with Ruth, I would never have known your photo was a selfie either! Great shadow shot and fun to see you both! I'm glad the dragon didn't carry you off!!

Your selfie is proof that decent shadow shots can be made with phones!
