Shadows cast by a fine art glass vase that is very, very lacy. I couldn't even imagine how it was made, but it was breathtaking! And, of course the shadows that resulted from this, even more so breathtaking! Extra cool factor too, with the shadow picking up a color cast from the glass.
So, how is your New Year going? Too fast, I think as we are nearly halfway through the month. Geez!!!
I'm not one to make resolutions, but always have ones that are on-going, renewed each day, etc. But you might enjoy this story of how some younger adults gave the New Year's Resolution a new twist. You can read about it here. Inspiring and of course, I am in awe.
As for finding out why there are holes in swiss cheese, you will have to go here.
Come join us every week, as a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

Amazing green tone in the shadows. Wonderful circle patterns. Stunning photo.
you are just a tease with only the bottom of this vase. we want more...we want more!! great shot!! love the green hue of the shadow.
My bad, Robin! I have a habit of not taking a reference picture of the whole for the audience. So, yes, I have to 'own' that I am a tease!
Very cool indeed
I almost think I'm looking at seashells scattered on a beach!
