The Year Of The Horse
Gung Hay Fat Choy! It's almost the start of the Chinese New Year-this year is the Year of the Horse. The zodiac that I was born under. This little jade charm came from a shop in Chinatown in Honolulu.
I hope that everyone back east is staying warm this winter-hard to believe the relentless cold they've had. It didn't seem right that I would complain about the 21 degrees this morning at 10:30 am. Although, at home on Molokai this morning in the main town called, Kaunakakai which is at sea level, it was 55 degrees this morning! Which is an unheard of temperature for that location!
So, wherever you are, hope you are staying warm! And maybe go out and have some Chinese food on Friday when Chinese New Year begins.
Gung Hay Fat Choy!
Come join us every week, as a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

Enjoying a little visit to the 50th State, are you? Stay well--and find some more fabulous shadows!
It's from a previous trip home! Oops!
Fun, colorful capture for the day!! I love it!! Enjoy your weekend!!
Well, it is all a matter of perspective - 21° F in many a place is truly cold...and 55° may not be particularly warm either. Although I'd be very happy with the latter :)
Giddyap!
Great shots!
Have a great Shadow Shot Sunday, here’s mine!
I'm a horse too :)
Finally we have only -6, better than -15 :)

Thanks for the Chinese New Year greetings ...
it is interesting when you have the negative numbers when you get back to 10 degrees...it feels warm. if we are lucky...only two more months of snow. it is what it is. sounds like it is colder than normal everywhere. happy weekend!!
LoL* Gong Xi Fa Chai... (in our way) what a nice honour for the Chinese people.
Absolutely cute & subtle.
Hope you have an enjoyable weekend and have a blessed wee ahead.
Hugs,
