Time Waits For No One...

...and no one waits for time.

(image by Paula Scott: Molokai Girl Studio)

Well, we are now in full swing with Daylight Savings time. As if one could a) save daylight and b) save time! It seems rather absurd just thinking about it. One cannot own time, stop time, make it stand still, speed it up. Nope. Wise Zen Master's response to: "I don't have time!" is that, you "have all the time in the world".

As my caption for today says, "time waits for no one".

"In the dark
I lost sight of
My shadow,
I've found it again
By the fire I lit."

From A Zen Harvest

Every week, a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

what an inviting clock face! utterly fantastic shot

The clock face is beautiful with the sepia palms gracing the backdrop. Time cannot be easily commoditized - to add and subtract time seems so abstract, like at a farmer's market buying minutes and seconds as one might purchase tomatoes and kale...I do like the sunset later than earlier though...great post!

Beautiful clock, indeed.
We all just have a certain amount of time, don't we?

We can't add a minute to our lives!

(Just scrolled through your Quaint Queen photos! hilarious)
