My Hat's Off For This One!

I keep hats in the back of my car-more than one. That way I have them when I need them as I wear a hat when I know I'll be out in the sun. Best anti-aging device I've ever known!

I've had this hat for perhaps 8 years. It's from Wallaroo and the style is called, "Victoria". Comes in a slew of colors (I have about 3 or 4 of these in different colors). Best part? One size DOES fit all and it travels anywhere! You can squish it up and it is just fine when you put it on. Perfect for travel. Has a band inside that you can adjust-I tighten it up when it's a bit windy out so it doesn't blow off.

But, really, this ISN'T about hats! It's about shadows! The word, "crew" is a shadow cast by a sticker that is on my window. It says, "TTN Film Crew". I often have a lot of explaining to do because of that sticker. Which really is from my husband. He wanted one on my car. It's a hobby company he and a friend have-filming events at local ski resorts here in NM to help promote them. Check out their work here.

This image is from the same table as last week's floating wine glass image. Getting a lot of mileage from that one event!

"Everything that we see is a shadow cast by that which we do not see." (Martin Luther King)

Every week, a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted! You can view all of my 2011 Shadow Shot Sunday images on my Flickr account.

The hat is oh-so stylish. Anti-aging devices can be stylish too! I like the light 'floating' on the wicker (?) device. And a great shadow! Atistry is all about us, as long as we are ready to enjoy it!

With all the traveling I do, I need one of the crushable, foldable, whateverable hats, particularly since I left my last traveling hat in a taxicab in San Miguel in June. :(
