Stairway to Heaven

They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

This image is of a shadow cast by a piece of artwork in an art Gallery. I didn't feel comfortable taking a picture of the object that cast the shadow as I thought that would be crossing that line when it's not OK to photograph an artist's work. But, oh! It did cast a lovely shadow.

If I knew the gallery and artist name, I would tell you. I took this image a few months back when I was down in Truth or Consequences.

This one was taken out in the edges of our city limits in development called, Mariposa. We were out there checking out a new restaurant that had recently opened up (Timbuctu-yes, that's how they spell it). Great food with great views! We were quite pleased.

The shadow in the top shot is art in itself, don't you think?

Shadowy art is ART - subject or shadow, the wavy view is outstanding, it feels as if it is motion. Neat!

The restaurant has the look of a gallery, angular with walls that would hold works of art if a showing were held. Very nice, and the food was tasty for sure - how could it not be in this artistic place?

That first shadow shot is like water creating its own art on the page! Fascinating! And love the stairway detail in crisp shadow!

I really appreciate your sensitivity in not photographing the actual sculpture in the first one, though I'm now dying to know what it looked like. It makes a great shadow!
