Get a Handle On It!

Car door handles are a very under appreciated contraption, I think. You don't have to worry about the electronics on these going haywire and leaving you in the lurch.

Obviously, this one has lasted quite a few years! The layers of peeling paint will attest to that.

"Everything that we see is a shadow cast by that which we do not see." (Martin Luther King)

Every week, a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted! You can view all of my 2011 Shadow Shot Sunday images on my Flickr account. Click here to view them.

Last, but not least, Happy Mother's Day to all of you moms out there!

I actually love this color combination! There are quite a few things I still prefer the manual to the electric on - in particular, can openers.

This was a great find on your part!

The window opening hardware keeps its wonderful and artistic functional shape despite the peeling layer of paint underneath. The turquoise and orange layers offer a bold choice when the painting a different character on the building...the depth is really seen in this cool post!
