Knock, Knock (again!)....

As far as interesting doors and door handles, I think Santa Fe is generous with providing that. Anything that is within walking distance of the plaza area and shops, it seems, has to make sure that the eye has many vignette's with which to gaze upon.

These are two doors next to each other-almost as though they were mirror images (save for the tree).

If you ever get to visit NM and visit Santa Fe, make sure the memory card in your camera is empty when you start, as by the time you are done, you will find it full of new and wonderful images such as these!

And, for all you shadow hounds, we are never without shadows since the sun shines aplenty here.

"Everything that we see is a shadow cast by that which we do not see." (Martin Luther King)

Every week, a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted! You can view all of my 2011 Shadow Shot Sunday images on my Flickr account. Click here to view them.

I love the door handles - they made great shadows! "handle" is the prompt for an upcoming photo meme I participate in and I would love to come across something like this to use! Great find, Paula!

These 'S' shaped door stops are classic, the cast iron (guess) material is so malleable it can be formed into curvaceous art. Great shadows too - Santa Fe is known for art, and it seems in many forms...

These are both great, beautiful colors and so many shadows :)
Did I see Blue Men? Oh YES! I just loved the show. We sat at 4th row right side so didn't get any wet surprises like those sitting in the middle... :)
We had so much fun after the show, feeling fantastic!
