Shhh.....I've been sneaking around with my cellphone camera again. I won't say what museum I took this in, but who could resist such a shadow?
Not to mention the incredible squash blossom necklace that cast the shadow.
A shadow with an edge...a sharp edge, that is!
This one was taken legally! It was an art exhibit where the participants conveyed what they did in the morning (that was the name of the show: "What I do in the morning"). This was a giant disposable razor. The orange 'spine' that you see on the handle are a whole bunch of disposable razors. Too clever, huh?

Shadows Dancing
The necklace seems more stylish in shadow - why I cannot say. Not that I am tired of gold and silver, but shadow seems like a metal of graphite color. Understated and elegant...
We don't appreciate the artistic qualities of the usual and mundane that is all around our homes. Disposable razors have a functional style and bold orange hue. Thus, art occurs as long as we open our minds to any possibility...

They do get tetchy about cameras don't they. Glad you weren't sprung, it's lovely! I can just hear you explaining to the guard: "I was only taking a photo of the shadow, honestly"

Paula - That's wonderful. You're right about the fish tacos. My young sister-in-law still talks sometimes about going down just to get fish tacos!
I won't tell you what the residentes (the resident foreigners) thought about American college kids, LOL. Although my parents loved meeting everybody.

Great shadow shot....if you're anything like me, when the cellphone is in use, you tend to keep an eye on the security cameras and security guards...and 'snap' away.
