Our Daily Mary: Day 6

The Virgin Mary every day from  December 1-12th.  Rebecca is hosting this meme. Thanks, Rebecca! If you want to join in, go to her blog and post your link.

 (taken on my cell phone of a display of Nativitys at our church)

Salve Regina

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy.
Hail my life, my sweetness and my hope!
To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve!
To you do we send up our sighs;
mourning and weeping in this vale of tears!
Turn, most gracious Advocate, your eyes of mercy toward me,
and after this, our exile,
show to us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus Christ!
Clement, loving, sweet Virgin Mary!
Amen.

I love these kind of images, as the years pass the statue becomes more and more beautiful, thank you for this and your lovely wish on my post.

This is the prayer I try to say every night after I am in bed.

Your phone camera created a moody and soft image; it's so dreamy, almost haunting.

I love this posting. The prayer is wonderful. The image, (is it a photo?) is soothing. I've been away and will start posting for A Virgin a Day again on day 7.

Peace.

Such a heartfelt supplication to the virgin. The image is very ethereal. It's as if Mary is part of the elements.
