A continuation of sorts, of some of the images I took at my visit to
Los Poblanos Farm in the North Valley (Los Ranchos) of Albuquerque.
Beautiful
gardens and what I would call garden 'vignettes' abound everywhere on
the property (at least to the areas that I was able to visit as many
areas are only for the guests staying there).
Budding Lotus
But it was the lotus pond that I had really come for.
It took my breath away. And the beaver that I startled too in trying to get close to the muddy edges to get some of these shots!

The littlest blossom leaves a might shadow, and you have captured them nicely!
The parade montage is absolutely wonderful! The parade is the event that gets the many types of people in town out and all enjoy together the sights. The day of independence is a time to remember the day freedom was declared!
Lotus are always a wonderful subject for shadows and yours are just beautiful. I envy you the sighting of the startled beaver, it is at least 30 years since I saw one.

I watched the 4th of July video. You folks did a good job capturing your hometown spirit. You sure can tell who the politicians are! Our parade was rained out this year.

Gorgeous shot!! And Lotus flower in China is famous too for the fact that when they bind their feet when they were young they called it Lotus feet. And it has to be perfect like a Lotus flower. Just can't imagine the cracking of bones ^_^
