My brother, Pat and I did a potpourri of things today-such as driving here and there! We drove out to the eastern end of the island. Stopped to take photos of this valley in particular (the clouds were cool). He thinks that the name of the valley is Kalaeloa.
State-wide Makahiki games were held here today. It is an annual event. It rained all night and everywhere there was mud and large puddles. Fortunately, the fields weren't too bad.
This scene kind of amused and horrified me at the same time. If you look closely, you can see a person in the water, right? It was a woman conducting a cell pone conversation while standing in the water. Odd...
I never have found the four leafed ones here, but I am quite content with these. This one was on the forest floor up at the Palaau State Park.
