The Shadow of Your Smile

Oh, really, this post has nothing to do with that song from way back when called "The Shadow of your Smile" (from the movie "Sandpiper"). The song just happened to randomly pop into my head as I was downloading these images to post here. Because I was smiling at shadows. Then came the song. That's how it works for me at times, does it for you too? You can admit to your indulgences of free association!

Viga shadows at one of the ruins at Chaco. I guess I'm in a quirky mood because this image is really upside down! It just seemed a lot more interesting when I did a 180 on it.

And, you might be thinking that I or my husband wrote our last name in the sand at White Sands Monument, but not so! Someone else wrote this in the sand the day before and I happened to encounter it early the next morning. Yep. I was totally amused. Doesn't take much to amuse me, does it? : )

Every week, a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Hey Harriet. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

I remember that song; the movie too. I like both shadows and I'm glad you explained about the upside down one. Otherwise I would be scratching my head.
