Go Ahead and Have a Seat...

Tired? Feet need a rest? Go ahead and have a seat. Make yourself comfortable....

Perhaps this one is too sunny.

And this one is too small...

This one has lots of shade and room for friends. Maybe someone will serve you some tea while there. One can only hope!

Or, perhaps this one will do...

Well, whichever one you choose, I hope you take a moment to sit and be still. A quick little shot of 'quiet time'. It does the body good. It does the soul even better!

Every week, a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Hey Harriet. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted! You can view all of my 2009 Shadow Shot Sunday images on my Flickr account. Click here and then select the "Shadow Shot" set.

 Here's to All Hallow's Eve!

Great shadows, certainly want to "rest a while" on one of your benches.

Ah, deciding where to sit seems to be a dilemma. The stylish benches are all perfect for the task, but does our taste tend toward shadows above us, or below instead??

The eyeglasses are a stylish Halloween costume, a treat instead of a trick...

What a great series of shots, the shadows are brilliant.

Nothing like a nice quiet place to sit and reflect.

Oh, yes, the yellow one will do best of all. Not too sunny, not too dark. A place to sit and rest my oh so weary toes.

This time of the year I'd love to sit on the first one....
But all of them are inviting!

I didn't do SSS this week, but making the rounds until the sun shines and I get started on a really busy day.
I love the benches and places to sit. I'll definitely have tea with some friends at the table, then retire to the yellow bench for a cigar.
Wonderful collection of shadow shots.

Peace.

NEED TO GIVE MY FEET A REST

Need to give my feet a rest—
Which of all the seats is best?
Will the yellow ease my pain
Or is mine a hope that’s vain?
Rustic one looks pretty good—
Soothing grain of soothing wood.
Green one’s just a wee bit small,
Though I like it best of all.
Chairs arranged in old tree’s shade—
Friendly place, but where’s the maid?
Still deciding, while my feet
Start to fester—not so sweet!

That first bench is pretty cool to look at, but I think I'd like to sit in that jazzy yellow bench in the shade! Hope you had a fantastic weekend Paula!
