putting the FUN back in dysFUNctional!

ABC Wednesday is a word meme with participants from around the world. This fabulous meme was created and hosted by Mrs. Denise Nesbitt who hails from Great Britain. Over time, others have joined in to help host this wonderful and informative meme. We are now in our NINTH round! Some of the participants have been with this from the very first round; others have joined in along the way. Each week we are taken across the globe to see the varied and exciting contributions people have taken the time to discover and capture. We start with the letter, "A" and each week we post something in regards to the next letter of the alphabet. This week's letter is, "F".

 FANTABULOUS FLAMING FLAMINGOS

FROLICKING FREDDIE FROG
FORMULATES FUN FRIDAYS

(my son John painted this when he was 10 years old)

Funny you should ask....

FRACTURED FRACTALS

This is public art in Albuquerque. It really is kind of cool. No fanfare or hit you in the face kind of public art. It's location is quite humble. These are painted on to the sidewalks. The symbol is the NM Zia symbol (state symbol) with a fractal in it. They are sprinkled along the sidewalk in a very subtle way. You have to look down to notice them. Each one has a different fractal design in it.

  7. Paula, loved this artwork! The flamingos remind me of a tattoo my daughter designed for herself: A bass clef joined with an inverted treble clef to form a heart.

Love the title of this! I used to say my family put the "funk" in "dysfunktional"! Amy

  16. Fantastic choice for the letter F. I can't believe your son painted the frog at age 10. He is a fabulous artist from such a young age.

  17. That is one fun frog, talented son. Flamingos lend themselves to art, they seem a creation of it.
