Aha, you have found a fine use for one - a shadow that is great. We need to think a bit harder about reusing the old and brown foliage...<br /><br />The latch is great - the surface rust adds a neat texture to the old steel. Not useless, the latch still provides is usual function, the honest a and functional style still there.
