Red Tulip

Forever-is composed of nows.
~Emily Dickinson

The interior of a red tulip from our yard. Our house is on the market and I had picked flowers from our yard to place in various places throughout the home for an open house. As busy as I felt, I did notice the tiny, soft, sweet shadow cast by the stamen of the flower. When I am able to be in the 'now', I am grateful as it is all that we have right here, right now. Learning to be in the moment while under duress of any kind is key to a grounded, centered life.

I'm sure some of you are wondering why our home is on the market-we are preparing to move back to my island home of Molokai in May. Exciting, terrifying, happy, sad all at the same time as I love New Mexico as much as I love Molokai. But, my husband and I and family are ready for this move and excited. There is so much to do in a very short amount of time, so I hope my fellow bloggers forgive me if I don't leave comments at your site or am sporadic about it. The next few months will be pretty crazy for us.

Join us as a group of us (yes-there are many of us!) from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

Both states are beautiful, although in quite different ways. I hope your home sells fast. What a great attitude to have when getting ready for such a stressing event.

Really beautiful capture, Paula.
I wish you and family the best of luck with your big move.
I know how tough they can be - we just moved back to Dallas.
Have a Happy Day.
Peace :)
