12 Days of Mary Day 5

Ooops! I let time get the best of me and lost sight of the intention to participate in this meme from Day 1. Here I am picking it up on Day 5. Better late than never, right?

Faith can be expressed in so many ways. Faith can be inspired by so many things. Turning to a near perfect example is that of Mary's life and her faith. Let's add 'unfaltering' to that too. It is exactly that kind of an example that I turn to for inspiration and strength. After all, she was a mortal just like we are.

With faith comes hope.

A tradition that has gone on for many years now-where a group of bloggers (and anyone is welcome to join) will post for the first 12 days of December images that represent the Mother of Jesus. It ends on the Feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Some will write amazing words of inspiration and prayer. Others tell a story. Often, the image alone conveys the message and that is enough.
Come see what others have shared over at Rebecca's page. Feel free to join in with us whether if it's for one day or all 12!

The cropping of this photo is simply magical to me. I can drift in my thoughts imagining what the madonna looks like fully seen. I wonder who carved her and who made the rosary. Was it you?

@redondowriter: no, it wasn't me, Fran! But, this statue can be found at the Santuario de Chimayo in northern NM.

I love how you have used the word 'unfaltering'! Lovely to visit your spot again - I had my nose stuck to my work table the past year and did not venture out much
