Seduced

"Seduced by Agave Shadows" © Paula Scott Molokai Girl Studio

An agave plant that is growing in our yard in Kalae, Moloka'i. I took this image on a previous trip home in August, 2012. Who could resist the seductive, soft, green curves of this plant in the early morning light?

Simple beauty: line, light, shadows.

My next question is, can we make tequila from this?  : )

Come join us every week, as a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

Such a simple, beautiful photo! Tequila sounds good. So does Dos Equis Azul which is brewed with blue agave nectar!

Indeed this is a beautiful shot, the green agave opening its leaves in a soft green splendor. The arrangement looks almost like stylish spokes on a wheel. Natural art...alas, tequila probably requires a lot of these plants. Maybe after you start a garden of agave, you can have a heck of a party after the harvest...

That is a very good capture of the texture of the leaf, very well done! But i can't answer your question as we don't do tequila here, just get the finished product.

The interaction of light and shadow does seem to accentuate the curve of the agave leaves. Beautiful macro.

I think it's the wrong sort of agave for tequila, but what do I know? It seems that desperate humans can distill spirits from almost anything!

You're right, it's beautiful.
But tequila...no idea.
We drink vodka here... :)
