Blazing Shadows

You never know what you might see in a furniture store.

In getting this image together for this week's SSS2, I realized that this week's image and last week's image are both from the same furniture store I visited last month. Things aren't as intentional as they seem, is all I can say.

Lots of light and lots of shadows here in the southwest-I wish I could send some of it over to those of you who might not get as much sun and light as we do. The flip side to that is, that we can't remember when we last saw rain here. Seriously. It's May. I can't recall any real precipitation for the entire year. We've had a few 'spitting' moments, but nothing measurable. We're ready for rain and clouds. Bring it on. Although, I don't think it's anywhere near our horizon.

In the meantime, I'll enjoy the abundant sunshine that we do have.

Every week, a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

Cool furniture, although the look is af a sort of rustic wicker. I'll chalk that up to the subject and shadow wonderfully distorting what I think I see...the essence of art is imagination I'd say!

That's a beautiful shadow pattern and a very pretty photo. Wish I could send you some of our rain - we have flooding here.

I loved this image, especially because it's got an "ad lib" feel to it. Many thanks.

Greetings from London.
