Just As Much Fun As Goats Yelling Like Humans

Shadows gracing a rock in the Mediterranean Room at Albuquerque's Bio Park

Albuquerque has a lovely park called the Bio Park-a huge botanical garden that sprawls over many acres, which includes a huge biosphere-like space (it's really a very large green house on steroids) that grows all kinds of tropical plants. A friend of mine and I decided that it was time to take our cameras over there yesterday to do some photography. I think most people at most, spend about ten minutes in this enclosed garden room. 15 minutes tops. For  Linda and I, an hour in there zips by pretty quick  The only reason why we stop is so that we can move on to other parts of the park. We both bring our digital SLR cameras with us, but on this trip, I decided to also use my cell phone camera. This image is from my cell phone camera with no Photoshopping done to it. I just used one of the special effects filter that was in it and I think I had more fun yesterday using my cell phone camera than my 'big gun' camera! I posted some of he cell phone images on my Face Book timeline (I believe I have it on a public setting).

Oh, and the goats yelling like humans part? Check out this video-I promise it will make you laugh good and hard!

Every week, a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted! You can view all of my 2012 Shadow Shot Sunday images on my Flickr account.

The picture with that effect looks like a fresco, perhaps from the Renaissance. Maybe from Firenze from the 1500s, perhaps to line the wall or ceiling of a building. I love it, an excellent and artistic piece!

The goats are too cool :)

I could have camped in that biodome for the day. You have quite a wonderful zoo/aquarium/park there; I'm still processing photos from our visit over a year ago.

And you're right - that goat video is hysterical. I have toyed with the idea of getting goats as pets, but now ... not so much.
