Take A Walk On The Wild Side...

Should I apologize?

I don't know.

For what? You say.

I'm addicted to presenting my shadows shots in a  stylized manner. I can't seem to just post them 'as is' lately. I think Tracey in Brisbane can relate to this.

Blame it on that cell phone ap. It made me want more dreamy images. More altered images. More of, 'anything but normal'.

So, do I apologize for this?

Sigh...

I still don't know.

In the meantime, I shall continue with my selfish indulgences.

(sculpture at the Albuquerque Museum Sculpture garden)

(and a gate not too far from the sculpture)

Although, truth be told, I took these on a normal camera like normal people do. Then, I imported the images into a photo software called, 'Analog'. You ought to try downloading some of these (especially if you are on a Mac). They are very cheap and very easy to do!

Go ahead-take a walk on the wild side and play!

Every week, a group of us from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted! You can view all of my 2011 Shadow Shot Sunday images on my Flickr account. Click here to view them.

No apologies necessary - I've gotten where I do the same more and more. I think it's fun tweaking them a bit!

I love both of yours, but I especially like the lines in the top shot. Nice!! (yours is always one of my favorite SSSs to visit each week)

Define 'wild' if you dare! Modified photos or not, these are a great pair!

Actually, the look of wire cast iron or any metal formed into a shape will allow for artistry in shadow - never apologize for having an artist's eye, just keep at it! The gate looks almost like an impressionist's iteration of a high rise building at night with 'lights' peering a few of these portals. That mesh-y piece of art is tres cool!

Nothing to apologies of, dear Ann.

I don't modify my shots, nothing even in a slighties touch. I downloaded as they are, anyways. If my readers find that my presentation is dull then, I am sorry, as blogging is just for fun for me. Blogging is not my daily bread. If I earn from blogging, then that's another story.

Anyhow, YOU done an awesome job and your indulgence shots are so much from what I am expecting (ez to please me). Luv both shots.

Happy SSS2.
