12 Days of Mary: Day 10

"it's not about religion, it is about sharing" (Rebecca Brooks)

(photo taken in a church in Algodones, NM and altered, of course)

We are full of hope that, standing beneath

thy shadow and protection,

nothing will trouble or afflict us,

nor need we fear illness,

or misfortune, or any other sorrow.

today marks the tenth day of december;
this being day ten of twelve days of mornings with mary.
everyone is invited.
while this is not about religion, it is about sharing,
about opening hearts, rejoicing in ultimate mother love.
it is about  light, beauty, inspiration, thoughtful regard.
a welcome chance to begin each new day together
in beauty and peace.

Come see what others have shared over at Rebecca's page. Feel free to join in with us

Thank you for the beautiful prayer. Your image is striking. I have seen Mary depicted in so many ways, and it has opened my heart and mind to see her in everyday life more often as well.

Peace

Any divine feminine image in shades of blue immediately makes my heart beat faster. I'm visiting a little earlier today than usual, although I can't blame work for that today. Just shopping.
