Dramatic Dragons and Dream Catchers

ABC Wednesday is a word meme with participants from around the world. This fabulous meme was created and hosted by Mrs. Denise Nesbitt who hails from Great Britain. Over time, others have joined in to help host this wonderful and informative meme. We are now in our NINTH round! Some of the participants have been with this from the very first round; others have joined in along the way. Each week we are taken across the globe to see the varied and exciting contributions people have taken the time to discover and capture. We start with the letter, "A" and each week we post something in regards to the next letter of the alphabet. This week's letter is, "D".

DANGEROUSLY DRAMATIC DRAGON

I'm sure we all have enough drama in our lives-perhaps more than any of us would care for!!  So, adding a dragon to the mix might not be a welcome sight. Fear not, this one resides in Ballet Repertory's Studio in Albuquerque-it lives in the dance studio room that I take my ballet class in and he certainly brightens up the room. Imagine doing jete's across the room, heading towards this dramatic piece!

DREAM CATCHER

This incredible dream catcher was made by my blogger friend, Joe Spado (aka Spadoman). He made it for me for a specific photo project that I am working on. In fact, I just did the photo shoot with the model this weekend. It is for a show that will take  place in the month of December at the Matrix Fine Art Gallery. One model, 15 photographers. I swear I must be the only amateur photographer in this group-no pressure, right (can you hear me choking?)? All I have to do is put one foot in front of the other and I will get there.

Not to worry. I think you will do fine. With your artist's eye you will Catch that Dream.
Great post as usual Paula.

Dream catcher and dragon - a great combo for the D day. I think if I could jete at all it might be in the opposite direction, but one doesn't know. :)

Wow! Great choices for our D-week. Do you ever dream of dragons? We have dream catchers here made by the First Nations groups and they really are beautiful. Hope you have a delightful week,

A photo shoot with the pros sounds a pretty daunting prospect! But if you can "slay" a dragon, you can do anything!

A dancing dragon and a dream-catcher, a perfect combination. I always find it fascinating to see different visions of an object, I am sure yours will be unique. Good luck.

Well now, thanks for the mention. Having you say my name is akin to having it in lights on Broadway for me. You are so kind. I can't wait to see your photos. I'll be in New Mexico most of December.
That dragon is cool! I ate at an old fashioned Chinese Restaurant in Sioux Falls, SD the other night. It was traditionally decorated with paper lanterns, dragons, large colorful calendars printed in Chnese character, the whole shootin' match! I love the Chinese folk art and the dragon holds a central part in most of it.
Take care and be well. Thanks again.

Peace
