Our Daily Mary: Day 11

The Virgin Mary every day from  December 1-12th.  Rebecca is hosting this meme. Thanks, Rebecca! If you want to join in, go to her blog and post your link.

(another image, once again, taken at the cemetery at Magdalena, NM)

Yes, the cemetery in Madelena, New Mexico is incredible. Well kept (with love, I might add) and has been there for quite some time. I'm guessing, but, at least 200 years? If you ever take a trip out that way (the Very Large Array could be the main destination with this stop as a stop along the way). Anyway, an incredible amount of Virgins can be found in that cemetery. All beautiful.

The Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word incarnate, despise not my petitions, but, in your mercy, hear and answer me.
Amen.

First of all, your day 11 Guadalupe is beautiful. More inspiration for a project I have in my mind, (planning stages can last years in my world, but at least I'm thinking about it). I'm calling this style of art kitsch decorating and I love it, the colors and intricacy of all the busyness (not a spelling error). I love it.
Your prayers have been beautiful throughout. You are asking Mother Mary to help, and that is her purpose. I love that too.

Peace.

So simple, so beautiful, made with such love. I love that the angel is with Our Lady. You've made me long to return to NM.

I have seen some of these cemetary shrines. They are incredibly beautiful and this is no exception. I love this image and your prayer is soulful and heart-opening. Thank you.
